New Begining
Hello everybody,
This week I enjoyed so much, first of all it's my first time that I am here in Romania. My impressions of the city is that it's so small, intimate and historic traces.
It's very exciting to meet guys from Different countries and get to know different cultures. Every day, know something new and I'm learning. In the city centre, the first thing that caught my attention was the old and the beautiful historic opera house. I also saw Romanescu Park it's very large and beautiful natural park. During weekend, who was showing me the town he was my friend ahmet, Thank you..
My first day in the penitentiary, was exciting but I felt a little nervous becaouse it was also my first time inside the jail but everything is ok there's a lot of fun and I enjoyed. I played table tennis and basketball, it was fun. the days go, we continue working, planing too much different activities. for now, that's all, see you all next week.

Second week in Craiova
Hello guys,
This week was a lot of fun for me..weekend in bucharest, I met and I recognise some people. I also saw The world's third largest building, I saw the houses of parliament, Really fascinating and amazing architecture. I am full of Enthusiasm and emotions because of Romanian history and architecture, i was there with my collage and the same time with my friend Rasit and we had memorable trip, what was very exciting.
the best part of the volunteering, is that u can find out the cultures of the different countries with meeting new people every day.
This week was not so different from the other week, again sports activities and social programs over a week. I also was on a meeting Manegmentul integral al ariei natural protejate de important comunitara ROSPA. but it was a lil bit boring because it was only on Romanian language …..

Feel the Rythem
Hello everybody,
This week, it was full of dance, music and fun.
We just started training about flashmob that was have been preparing for two weeks.
I'm really sad about that I couldn't participate for shadow theatre, but I'm also happy that I'm gonna participate for this flashmob..First trainings were a little bit hard, but also exacting, To creative a good job, we are working really hard as Second Chance team.
Last days, I joined a panel about protection of Naturel Life on a former museum that is called Museum Oltenia. We finished a week with full of joy and fun, It was so funny for me. By the way, the best dancer in our team is for sure Silvia. She is really good at this job.

One mounth in Craiova
Buna ziua,
Today I just passed first month in Romania , very fast and fun at the same time, it was a bit tiring.
A lot of good memories in just one month in Romania. I have had experience with,i travelled lots of cities around Romania so far it was a good opportunity to learn about culture and history, I saw five cities totally and it was just a few part for me.
We started to work harder for our flashmob, we had to work on choreography which was done by ourselves in the rhythm of the music we're dancing. Music is a universal language for our work it is so much fun. Another important thing for us was to move to an other apartment. It was exhausting for me, but a very nice process.
Every day in Romania i m discovering the city and the things that i saw are just amazing, and I love it.
Just in one month i get used to my work , we started Romanian language with Georgiana , it s so similar to Turkish and we have almost the same alphabet, it seems like easy , but I have to work.

Training Week
it was a memorable experience, for me..I started my first day at 10:00 with breakfast. we were From 17 countries from all over the world in total we were 72 volunteers. the trainers split us up with 4 different groups. with my group I made a lot of freinds and I had the opportunity to socialize. Other volunteers of the project shared information about their projects and me also from my side introduced my own project. People liked it because it is different from other projects, and it was interesting.
first night was the night of romania. there was presented food and culture of romania. i came so close to every country. it was very excited. every country talked about their country and culture. i find out too much new things to know and it was a very nice experience for me. some Volunteers introduced presentation with competition and made their own games and questions, and I was talking about turkish body language, how to use them, and i saw people was very interested in. I also discovered that My own country and my own culture is somehow simillar with other countries. i remeber that it was the time of Armenian culture and they gave us question what about i guess correct answer and they gave the Armenian wine.
This activities made us much closer to each other more and more. we got information about Axa insurance this training taught me a lot in every sense. my trening was in Predeal and this is high in a mountainous region, our instructor give us advice to dont go to walk around during the night alone, because the bears are coming in the town in this season to find food. last night of the training while i was feeding stray dogs, I saw a bear OMG it was my first time i saw bear. i was excited but not scared, but on the contrary, it was cute. The next day i wake up early in the morning we went to the mountains. the task was like this: one group put notes on the trees and other group need to find them and tried to answer. After a day they send usdown to the city centre, and we had questinar in Romanian language for romanians. we did it and during doing task we had a lot of fun. My trainers eoane and eoana are very successful, beautiful, smart, and I think they may be the best trainer in the world.
They were very helpful for me in all matters. The first day was very sensitive for me because from my organisation i was the only one. i was alone and all of this guys were straingers for me but i want to say big big thanks to my trainers that they made such kind of activities thet was helpfull for us to entregrate to each other. i want to tell you thanks again and my trainers and i promise i will never forget you. i had really good time. enjoed too much, gain too much frineds and this time ...... unforgateble time....!
I am very happy. Thank you for everything, I am so glad to meet all of you..

For whom the bell tolls
One week with full of surprises and fun has just passed. İ participated to the wedding which was between 2 youngsters in penitentiary on monday. İt was really funny.i couldnt even imagine that there could be a wedding in penitentiary.
The couple has also a baby and she was So cute. On tuesday, there was another Group like us in the penitentiary, there were 11 participants from 6 different countries and their project name is also second chance. The participants in this project were either teacher or Psycholog.they were visiting all 6 countries and checking all the penitentiaries and compare them with the penitentiaries in their countries. There were 2 Turkish guys in the Group. One of them was Manager of the school in turkey and the other one was a teacher. We talked with them and got informed about their project.their project has the same name like ours and has some similarities with our project.
We also acted our flashmob dance for the Group and they really liked it.it was a really good and motivated day for us.The next day was painting day.after a while İ just Touched the paints and it Made me Feel Better. You can forget everything with painting. Just Leave yourself to colors and paints.i got shocked when İ saw the paintings which have Done by youngsters.
They are really talented and the good thing is they are aware of their talents and they are working for it.
İ knew that İ have also some talents on painting but i havent painted for a Long time thats why İ decided to paint. İ started to paint something which was painted by Picasso originally the guy who lead to cubist akım. İ hope i m gonna finish it the next days and Share it With u. We will see all how talented i m.i just had à week that was funny,good and full of actions.

Music is everything..
Hey Fellas,
Last week so great and little bit cold for me, First of all Christmas coming and everybody so exciting.
We have a good news, we made it the candles ,Christmas candles take it and we will go to penitentiary, and also penitantery guys painting the candles, finished we take it and go to high school we buy the christmas candles. Made it so easy and enjoy..Girls made it the necklace and accessories they do pasta. Nankino so talented and also so fast, she made it the case, handmade phone sheath. Look so nice, I think first the sell nankikos handmade phone case..Other day we work the traditional song, we teach the penitantery guys.Chose the most popular song. Georgian, Arabic, Italian and Turkish. they had a lot of fun. Learn to fast..
This week to my attention I see, Music is international language. Everybody don't understand and also me, But not important you feel is great, this important. This is it.Music is the biggest power, Change your mind, change your mood. You understand the lyrics or don't not important. All the time we need music. Actually this week went by way too fast, Made it the christmas candles, Make a paint, christmas gift, choose the song and learn, teaching.. Always hard working and thinking, what's the next? After that, what can we do? Proud of us, because we are not stopped and say tired yes everybody need a lilttle bit rest but we are like a bee..
Finally Georgiana not here this week, we couldn't romanian lessons. Actually this is a message from the universe for me.I work more than..
So colorful, exciting, fun, I spent a week with music.

Thing Creative
Hi Guys,
This week also so fast and perishing cold..First day we work the countries most popular songs.
Girls woren’t here, Working Turkish and Arabic song practice again, also guys like and finally learn it songs.
Tuesday will work again Christmas candles but we didn’t do it anything because we don’t have to much materials. But not important because i am so creative, found the watercolor and white paper give the guys. Make a paint and finished put on the glass. Pictures not nice to much but administers..
Silvia is weren’t here therefore we didn’t take a picture, because only Silvia have a camera so i didn’t upload the photo, choose the old photo..
Finally, i make the snowflake.. made easy, only white and red paper a little bit glue and rope.. Not expensive, so cheap. Requested us to do cheap and look to nice, We will work.
Sorry i want to write to much but this week not different to much, talk to penitentiary teachers and guys want to again shadow theatre and also new shows. we thing first of all christmas gift..
Maybe later do it the new activities.

Christmas Coming..
Hi everbody,
Last week so enjoy and and so fast actually. Christmas coming..everybody exacting and happy we work so hard always thing creative, and always we say what we can do?
First day i teach the guys, handmade christmas trees, balls, snowflake.. cut and paint. Guys have a talent made it the gift and see it, feel great and happy Time is up, I feel little bit nervous but i believe, last event its finished nice.
After day Naniko teach us Georgian song, Chito, gyrito. margarito. Song chorus like twister, everbody don’t understand but chorus so catchy. Finally everbody learn to song..and also i do it Turkish song
“Sikidim” practice i am so glad because, guys accent and pronunciation perfect like a Turk.. We work the new activities, Like a social responsibilite, test or game.. Today Naniko and me we will go to university and activitiesseet put on the University wall and inside, we talk to students explain the organization and activities..
next week we will see, i didn’t say details here ..
Christmas soul everwhere, everbody exiting and so happy, Finally last week i make video i chose topic Romanian and Turkish traditional costumes. I like it and also everybody.. Many many years ago people use traditional oldiest costumes similar histories my countries costumes, unorthodox topic, educational and fun.

Say hi again
Hey Fellas,
Three weeks later again craiova..So what did i do before three weeks, let's see. Last week, last event so enjoy and happiness. Actually this event is the best event.
Flashmob dance shows, theatre and sell the some christmas gifts, portrait, christmas cards something. Memorable experience for me.
The next day, i go Turkey i m so glad because the last time i saw five mount ago, weather is perfect everything is so nice.
There were lots of things that i wanted to to in Romania but i couldn't,so in Turkey i had chance to do all the things that i wanted to do and i managed to do so many of them,like going to art gallery,concerts,exhibitions and etc.
Time is so fast i even couldn't understand. i stay ten days in Turkey but not yet for me.
So here i am again

Merhaba, After a long time.
hello guys,
I don’t know how can I start my article. Almost one month later we go to penitentiary..But not working want to say goodbye.Not for me because i stay in here. Other volunteers leaving, I feel a lot of sense.. Not finished actually everything have a new beginning, for me.
Also youngsters missing us, we talk about project, last event or something..Guys feel happy and I feel glad, because i think we did it good job.
I want to do it a lot of something.. because i have only one volunteering project, I learn to much something and I will continue to learn, i believe.
This week i check the Second change website, i seems the videos, photograps, articles or something..
We did it a lot of good jobs, I want to say thank you for everything because everybody helping me everytime, teaching me.I feel glad coz and I learn a lot of something.

Hello again..
Hello again,
Only one volunteer is here, really strench feel. Last week also so fast and perishing.Every week one volunteer leaves craiova, actually so weird and emotional for me..
Last week first of all i made a video for mean Second Chance Project. Totatly last eight mounth all activities put on the video, the video also I tried to tell all the details of the project. I show this video University of Craiova in law faculty students. After video I ask students some question for youngsters, next week I upload, we'll watch it together this video.. First of all I want to say thank you for Luiza and Madalina for helping me and of course Francesca..I’m only one volunteer of Second Chance Project but I’m not feel alone,you’re always helping me girls thank you again.

Midterm meeting and happy easter!
Hi again,
after a long time, spring has come to Craiova, days are much longer now, but i can't say this for whole Romania. Last week i was in Busteni for midterm meeting, it was snowing like hell, I was surpised to see snow in April.
Romania teaches me something more everyday. At midterm meeting there were many friends of mine from on arrival traning.Gathering again with them was excating and i also had chance to meet with new people. Traniers were so great and funny, they informed us about what we can do after EVS. Everyone presented their own project and organizations.
My project "Second Chance" was attracted by everyone because it was way different than other projects, nobody has seen such a project before. I informed them about what we did during our project and what kind of activities we have done. I got happy that they interested in my project.
When i heard about the problems of other volunteers about their hosting organisations, I felt lucky about coming Craiova with my hosting.
